The challenge: An abundance of leads from sources such as webcasts and conferences were being uploaded directly to ELT’s Salesforce with thousands of duplicates being created, which resulted in numerous prospects contacted by more than one salesperson.
The solution: The Salesforce admin at ELT, Inc. utilized RingLead’s Declone Data Cleansing application to first identify possible duplicate Leads, Contacts, and Accounts within the database. The admin was then able to merge each duplicate after determining appropriate salesperson ownership. Declone Mass List was then activated, and was used when uploading tradeshow and conference lists and attendee information from webcasts, which prevented duplicate creation. All possible duplicates were matched according to admin specifications, including all new data from the list added to the Lead or Contact within a task or empty field. RingLead allowed ELT’s admin to record all new data without losing any old data. The seamless integration of RingLead and Salesforce, combined with the ease of implementation allowed ELT’s admin to quickly learn the application and be able to apply it within hours to all lists.
The results: The integrity of ELT’s database was improved upon implementation of Declone Data Cleansing. ELT’s lead management process was streamlined with the advent of Declone Mass List. New Leads were more quickly entered into the database and distributed to the appropriate sales people. All existing Leads and Contacts were matched and updated with any new information while notifications were provided to the proper salespersons.
