Data Enhancement
Before importing into Salesforce, the mailing address, email address, and DUNS Number can be enhanced. By validating this information prior to importing, there is no need to manually correct it later. These enhancements improve the automated de-duplication since these fields are used to find existing records.

Address Verification
This feature inspects every element of an address to ensure its validity and, using sophisticated matching and data standardization technology, updates incorrect addresses according to postal requirements. It inspects house numbers, street directions, street names, street types, apartment numbers and P.O. boxes to ensure the accuracy of each element and standardize addresses according to postal authority rules. This features also corrects street name misspellings, validates street type extensions, standardizes city names and state names, and appends missing state abbreviations.
Email Verification
Indicates whether or not an email address actually exists or not, without actually ever sending an email message. For any email address, the Web service will simply return a true or false as to whether or not the email address is valid or not. This goes far beyond the structure of the email address, actually identifying bad email addresses and non-existent domains.

An essential step in researching and profiling a company involves obtaining the DUNS number. RingLead can be configured to populate a field with the DUNS number. Declone Web-to-Lead
Any web form can be used to search and update the matching Contact or Lead in salesforce.com. If a match is found, fields can be updated while archiving overwritten or new information. The salesforce.com Campaign module is fully supported and Tasks or email notifications can be created.
