Declone Web-to-Lead Upgrade

RingLead is happy to announce our latest Declone Web-to-Lead upgrade.  We’re very excited about the new features, including the automatic creation of contacts when RingLead finds an existing account.

Additional new features to our Declone Web-to-Lead tool include:

  • Data Validation (see RingLead-StrikeIron partnership below)
  • Multiple campaigns from a single web form
  • Lead status updated for leads
  • Increment as a new field action

RingLead Expands Partnership with StrikeIron for Data Validation

RingLead has integrated StrikeIron’s US Address Verification and Email Validation into our Declone Web-to-Lead Service for salesforce.com customers. With this service, you can instantly validate and enhance any address in the U.S.

The StrikeIron U.S. Address Verification Web Service uses the United States Postal Service certified technology to verify, correct and enhance any address in the U.S. It corrects addresses, adds ZIP+4 data, gives congressional districts, carrier routes, and much more.  StrikeIron also corrects street name misspellings, validates street type extensions, standardizes city names and state names, and appends missing state abbreviations.

Email Address Validation analyzes incoming email addresses and reports if they are valid, invalid, or undetermined. Once your StrikeIron account is active, RingLead can integrate your StrikeIron service with RingLead.

Faster Creation of Leads

Declone Web-to-Lead uses the Salesforce.com Web-to-Lead queuing servers to create the new Lead by default.  However, customers can choose to have Declone Web-to-Lead use the API to create the new Lead.  This will:

- Eliminate the 500 or 1,000 limit by Salesforce.com
- Reduce duplicates created during the ten second delay by Salesforce.com Web-to-Lead queuing servers
- Enable customers to create Tasks for new Leads just as we do for existing Contacts/Leads

New RingLead Office in the AppExchange San Mateo Building

RingLead Strives to Meet Customers’ Needs

At RingLead, we truly understand that every client has unique business needs, and we want to contribute to the success of our customers’ lead management and data integrity processes. We invite our clients to tell us what would work best for them so that we, like Salesforce, can continually improve our products with new features evolving from your requests.

The new feature request process is quite simple and involves the following:

  • Many times customers ask for minor configurations that will best suit their internal processes.  Whenever possible, RingLead sticks to our philosophy of no additional fees and swift completion of these requests.
  • Major configurations are defined as items which our clients have requested us to address prior to our scheduled product release and do require dedicated technical support. We evaluate the hours to completion, the number of requests for a particular customization made by various clients, whether or not the salesforce.com roadmap will address this soon, and if it makes sense to complete prior to other requests. These types of modifications will incur a fee and are based on time and resources.
  • Some requests will be denied if not in the best interest of the product or if it will deviate from the salesforce.com product development.

The benefits to our customers are numerous.  As we continue to improve our products adhering to our industry-leading timetable for doing so, you will find details under the Solutions section in My RingLead. The product as a whole will be upgraded to a new version and include all recent major and minor modifications with these items clearly identified.
